Healthy skin is a very important part of person’s beauty. There are some tips and main rules listed below to help your skin be healthy and feel beautiful.

First of all you should know your skin type, because not every skin care product suits everyone. Secondly you don’t have to forget the widely known saying ‘Drink a lot of water’. This will both keep your skin moist, as well as help in overall upkeep of your health (and in turn your skin).

The next important tips are the following ones.

Clean your skin regularly (1-2 times everyday). Cleansing is especially important when you have been out of your house (and hence exposed to pollutants, dust etc). Be gentle with your skin, don’t scrub/exfoliate it too hard or too often, don’t apply too much skin care products. Don’t let your skin get dry, keep it moist at all time.  Dryness causes the outer layer of your skin to break, leading to a rough and unattractive appearance. Avoid the use of soap on your face. Use it only from below the neck. Use sunscreen to protect yourself from sun’s harmful UV radiations, known as skin cancer causers.

What is also very important for your skin and your health as a whole are exercises and good sleep. Lack of sleep can lead to formation of wrinkles below your eyes and lack of exercise can cause your skin to slack.

One more important advice is about not ignoring any skin dilemmas. It’s always better to consult your dermatologist before you go on to use a skin care product.

And finally, beat the stress. The harmful effects of stress are known to everyone, and it harms skin too.  So, it’s very important to take a break, indulge in a warm bubble bath or just get good sleep.
